THIS letter is about good friends and good neighbours.
One Tuesday evening I went to join my male companion to fish in a local pool, but finished up in A & E after slipping and falling over trying to avoid a large puddle.
I was told after X-rays I had a fractured ankle and had also fractured a bone in my left leg. If it were not for quick-thinking friends getting an ambulance, and neighbours and good friends helping me when I came home, I do not really know what I would have done. I'm still in plaster.
