GET in quickly if you want to take part in the Primrose Hospice's annual celebrity golf tournament next month, as there are only a few team places left.
World-famous darts player John Lowe has stepped in to support the popular contest after patron John Conteh pulled out.
During the last three years the John Conteh and Frank Worthington Celebrity Golf Classic has been one of the Finstall-based centre's main fundraising events, collecting more than £30,000.
Unfortunately, John has had to step down this year because of a new business venture.
However, twice world darts champion John Lowe has agreed to team up with Frank and spearhead the event.
This year's tournament is being held on September 17 at Bromsgrove Golf Centre, and has been renamed the John Lowe and Frank Worthington Celebrity Golf Classic.
But if golf isn't your cup of 'tee' then you can enjoy a four-course dinner with cabaret at the Forte Post House, in Birmingham, during the evening.
Tickets are priced at £30.
For more information about dinner tickets, sponsorship and taking part call Des Blee on (01527) 875444.
