ONE of Britain's up and coming young jazz singers is taking to the stage at The Talbot Inn, Belbroughton, on Monday.
Catherine Sykes trained at Leeds Music College and obtained a merit in her singing diploma course at Wakefield College.
The 25-year-old is no stranger to fame and has been featured singing on television's Emmerdale and Heartbeat.
She has also featured in The Duke Ellington Repertory Orchestra completing a number of big concerts.
During these she sang with Norris Turney and Bill Bailey, two original members of the internationally renowned orchestra.
Catherine is already considered by many to be the UK's future big jazz singing star and is now based in the London area working with many stars..
The Tim Ward Trio will back her.
The evening kicks off at 8pm and admission is free.
