PRIDE in his job has won a Herefordshire site manager his third major award in as many years.
Terry Cole, who works for Prowting Homes' St Mary's development in Hereford, was one of only 40 site managers in the region to receive the coveted National House Building Council Pride in the Job Award.
Three hundred were considered for the accolade.
"Pride in the Job is an annual award made by the NHBC in respect of standards of workmanship and management at individual sites across Great Britain," said Martyn Evans, NHBC inspection manager.
"Every site is assessed monthly by a local NHBC inspector who nominates the best from his region to be considered for the award.
"Judging is by an independent panel of inspectors that visit the site several times before winners are chosen."
Mr Cole also won a Pride in the Job award in 1998 for a site in Worcester.
The following year, he was named Prowting site manager of the year. His team at St Mary's was named Site Team of the Year.
"To receive the award reflects the hard work of the whole team here at St Mary's and I would like to congratulate them all on this achievement," Mr Cole said.
