AN academically gifted Spa family has celebrated an outstanding year of exam success.
The Gylee family, of Foxhunter Close, boasts three exam successes thanks to hard work and dedication.
Last Thursday, youngest family member Elizabeth, aged 16, received GCSE exam grades totalling nine A*s, one A and two Bs -- including an Information Technology GCSE completed last year.
Elizabeth attended Blessed Edward Oldcorne RC Secondary School, in Worcester.
In September she begins studying for four A-levels at Worcester Sixth Form College, where her sister, Rachel, recently achieved four top A-level grades.
The 18-year-old is now off to Cambridge University to study biochemistry and genetics.
In March, their father, Malcolm, 57, was awarded a PhD in Rail Access Pricing.
Mr Gylee works in the electricity regulation industry.
He and his wife, Josephine, also have one son -- Brendan, 20.
Mr Gylee said: "It has been a fantastic year."
