A 17FT triangular monument has been proudly placed in the grounds of a stately home near Droitwich Spa.
The National Trust has bestowed the gardens of Hanbury Hall with a wooden obelisk which can be found in the Wilderness Garden.
The feature is part of the continuing recreation of the early 18th Century garden at the hall.
An illustration was used from a book by Batty Langley to reconstruct the obelisk, pictured on the Dougherty garden plan of the hall in 1732.
Volunteers on a National Trust working holiday at the property have painted it white.
The finishing touch will be a time capsule bottle -- to be buried within the construction -- containing details of everyone who worked on the project and details of the restoration.
