A LIBRARIAN is searching for "silver surfers" to visit a cyber site where they can key into the new computer age.
Stourport Library's Jenny Lythall, who has discovered many senior citizens are keen to learn how to use the Internet, has created a cyber caf specially for them.
Supervised sessions give small groups of older folk help in finding their way around the library's computers.
When they leave they are given an e-mail address which they can use to keep in touch with distant grandchildren.
Mrs Lythall said: "We have already tested out interest and found many of the older generation are avid for information.
"They don't want to be left out of the computer age and learning to use the Internet can bring them great benefits and keep them in touch with the rest of the world."
Anyone interested in future sessions should contact Jenny Lythall at Stourport Library in Mitton Street on 01299 822 866.
