POOR fielding and bowling let Bidford off the hook at Elmley Castle on Saturday.
Having restricted the visitors to just 98-4 off 34 overs, John Rogers hit 69 to help Bidford post 212-6.
Unbeaten knocks of 36 and 29 from Jamie Rogers and Chris Whiting respectively and 33 from skipper Neil Betteridge were also crucial to the visitors' revival and their grip on the game tightened as Robin Eaton, Mike Granacki and Neil Cooper were all out soon after the restart.
Tim Evans was the bowling hero with all three victims but Craig Sheward led a Castle revival until Tim Nason clung to a smart catch.
Justin Shaw (42), Simon Cooper (32) and Will Hope (26) gave the home side hope but they were eventually dismissed for 172 with Evans recording figures of 3-27 from his ten-over stint.
