AUTHORS worldwide are coming to Cheltenham for the town's Festival of Literature.
From October 13 to 22, a host of bookish stars will be discussing, debating and disputing the theme of space and literature, looking at place, landscape, people and frontiers.
This year the festival welcomes two guest directors - distinguished writers Michele Roberts and Romesh Gunesekera - who have each programmed a weekend of events.
For younger bookworms, there's the children's festival, Book It! which offers children a chance to meet their favourite authors and illustrators, such as Michelle Magorian, whose classic, Goodnight Mr Tom, has had many incarnations including a TV adaptation starring John Thaw, and Dick King-Smith, creator of Babe, the Sheep-Pig.
