A FOUR-star performance from a Kidderminster girl helped Holy Trinity School achieve an excellent set of exam results.
Four of Claire Baker's 10 GCSE A grades were A*, the highest possible grade at that level.
She will move into the Kidderminster school's sixth form to study biology and chemistry - her favourite GCSE subjects - as well as English literature, French and general studies.
Claire, who said she had not been expecting such good results, is aiming for a career in physiotherapy.
Her friend Laura Deacon, from Halesowen, led the way with 11 A grades, seven of which were A*.
These results were the icing on the cake for Holy Trinity School, which celebrated a 100 per cent GCSE pass rate, with 96 per cent of all grades between A* and C.
Linda Wong was also highlighted for her achievement of nine grade As, two of which were A*, as was Esther Wong, who had three A*s among her eight A grade passes.
A and A* grades accounted for an impressive 38.8 per cent of grades achieved by the school's pupils.
