ON Sunday morning Child-swickham Gun Club held their monthly shoot - the main event being a 40-bird sporting competition.
Weather conditions were ideal with 26 members and guests taking part.
John Arnold set the pace by shooting his first 20 targets without missing and he was in a strong position to go on and win this competition.
However, this was not to be as Paul Colley, Mick Emms and Ian Holmes all overcame John's efforts so relegating him to a creditable third position.
The top prize went to Colley with a score of 34/40 narrowly defeating Emms and Holmes who both scored 32/40.
Results: 1 Paul Colley 34/40; =2 Mick Emms and Ian Holmes 33/40; 3 John Arnold 32/40; 4 Chris Vale 31/40.
