NO accidents in the past two years have earned a Droitwich company a top health and safety award.
Rexel Business Machines, part of Acco UK, was named the Health and Safety Best Performer 2000.
Spokesman Debbie Fellows said no reportable accidents for two years, the undisputed best factory accident performance in the seven-site company and monthly safety inspections had pushed the firm towards the title.
Safety officer Phil Day collected the trophy from Acco Europe chief executive officer Gary Trussler and Michael Cook, managing director of Rexel Business Machines.
"Our performance has continued despite significant organisational change and commercial pressures in 1999," she said.
