EFFORTS to restore the organ in a Cotswold church were boosted with a successful flower festival last weekend.
The festival in St Nicholas's Church, Oddington, ran from last Saturday until Monday and raised more than £2,000 towards the appeal for the organ in the village's other church, Holy Ascension.
Organiser Jane Beynon said: "Obviously the weather affected it to a degree and it was a slow start on Saturday, but it was a success."
The cost of restoring Holy Ascension's organ, installed in the 1850s soon after the church was built, is likely to be about £15,000.
