RICHARD Burgess' fitness could be the key to Bromsgrove Rovers' cup hopes.
The former Worcester City striker is doubtful for tomorrow's trip to Sutton Coldfield Town (3pm), after taking a bang on his instep during Monday's 3-3 draw with Blakenall.
Defender Lee Millard is also struggling with strained knee ligaments and midfielder Jamie Turpin is out with a hamstring problem.
With manager George Rooney already light on strikers, he said: "Our approach will depend very much on whether Richard Burgess is fit."
Rovers have already beaten Sutton in the league this season, 1-0 away, but Rooney added: "In football terms it is not the ideal game to play. We did beat them but it was more by good fortune and good defending than good play. It will be a similar type of encounter."
