A RECORD number of students have successfully achieved Art and Craft qualifications at Malvern Hills College this summer.
All 33 of the students entered for a range of City and Guilds textile and embroidery qualifications passed, the examiner passing on the name of one of the students for consideration for a City and Guilds medal of excellence.
"I am very proud of our students' achievements in this area," said head of arts and crafts Caroline Park, "The College has gained a national reputation for its City and Guilds Embroidery classes and we are now building on this strength by expanding our City and Guilds provision to include patchwork, ceramics and interior design this month."
There was also success for more than 100 art and craft students entering for Open College Network Certificates in a range of subjects, including painting, drawing, mixed media and interior paint effects.
