A CALLOW End man hopes to have raised about £500 with a 100-mile cycle ride for charity.
Tom Probert and his brother-in-law David Holmes, of Worcester, took to the saddle on Thursday, August 17.
Their round-trip took in Tewkesbury, Broadway, Bidford-on-Avon, Redditch, Droitwich and Holt Fleet, before returning to Callow End.
Mr Probert said: "It took us seven hours and ten minutes including breaks, or six hours and three minutes of riding. I was quite pleased because I'm not getting any younger."
He said the weather was fine until they got to Holt Fleet, when the heavens opened and drenched the pair.
The money raised will go towards the charity Cystic Fibrosis, this year's cause of the Worcester Caledonian Club, with which Mr Probert is associated.
