AN organisation set up to boost the image of the carpet industry has appointed a new marketing director from Kidderminster.
Rupert Anton, of Victoria Carpets, has joined the Carpet Foundation, which has just launched a £4m advertising campaign.
The foundation will take five years to see if the campaign has led to sustained increased demand for carpets.
"Tremendous strides have been made by the Foundation in the past year," said 35-year-old Mr Anton.
Twelve companies have donated to the Carpet Foundation, six from Kidderminster.
