OUR Bishop writes (Evening News, August 23) that "we live in a world where travelling thousand of miles is no longer unusual".
Presumably, he is one of the lucky ones who can afford to do this. But there are a great many others - struggling unmarried mothers, pensioners, the disabled - who have a job to scrape together the local bus fare, let alone jet around the world.
