Epsom trainer Brett Johnson continues to do well with limited resources and Butrinto can serve up another reminder of the Australian's skills in the Showcase event at Lingfield tomorrow, the Tote Quick Pick Stakes.
The six-year-old has been in good form this season and won his first two outings for Johnson in May, a couple of six-furlong handicaps at Brighton.
But he shaped as if longer trips were needed when finishing a never-nearer second back at the Sussex course on his latest start and can show the benefits of a step up to this seven furlongs and 140-yards prize.
At his peak two years ago when trained by Jeff Pearce, Butrinto was rated 77 so his current mark of 63 still makes him look well-treated should he be able to return to that level of form.
Andromeda's Way has proved highly-disappointing on the track so far but can start to make amends in the Haxted Mill Nursery.
Roger Charlton's filly showed plenty of promise on her debut at Goodwood, despite apparently running green when put under pressure.
She was then sent off a red-hot favourite to take a modest contest at Catterick but completely failed to give her running and again disappointed on her most recent run at Windsor.
But her dam Titania's Way was quite a decent performer for Charlton when there was a bit of cut in the ground and similar conditions could see a much-improved showing on this, her handicap debut.
There was a bit of a buzz for Ringwood on his debut at Doncaster in July but the Foxhound colt failed to deliver, travelling well for most of the race before fading rapidly in the closing stages.
A subsequent eight-week absence from the track suggests that there may have been a legitimate excuse for that poor performance and the Chris Wall-trained juvenile can atone in the Marsh Green Median Auction Maiden Stakes.
Alan Berry's four-year-old Rosselli, without a success since his juvenile days, can regain the winning thread in the Alex Hammond 'Racechat' Conditions Stakes at Leicester, judged on the colt's sixth of 13 to Cassandra Go in the King George Stakes at Goodwood on his penultimate start.
