HOLIDAY season has led to delays in announcing who the new owners of Chipping Campden police station will be.
Gloucestershire County Council and Gloucestershire Constabulary, which are trying to sell the High Street station for about £550,000, say they had hoped to have made a decision on which bid to favour, but have been unable to do so.
Chipping Campden Town Council is one of what are believed to be three bidders for the station, who have been kept waiting for a month since the deadline for bids to be in.
Mr Chris Barney, from the county council's property department, said: "We hit the holiday period and the whole of August has been pretty much wiped out by people being away at the relevant times."
He said he was hoping for a decision within the next few weeks.
