YOU quite rightly highlight the dangers of diving into the River Severn from bridges at Worcester.
Youngsters will not accept the dangers of underwater hazards, dangerous undercurrents, cold water compared with body temperatures and so on.
Your excellent coverage has not, however, mentioned the Environment Agency bylaw prohibiting swimming in the river.
Perhaps a substantial fine - as the bylaw permits - would concentrate the mind of the mindless.
