PLAYING up the slope, Garringtons went straight for Sherwood and took the lead from a superb 25-yard free-kick by Gary Eades in the Redditch and South Warwickshire Combin-ation Premier Division.
They went further ahead in the 40th minute following Ade Summers's fantastic double save in the Garringtons goal.
Steve Evans played a ball out to Robert Powell who got to the by-line and crossed for Peter Ellis to hit home.
Straight from the start of the second-half, Sherwood forced a corner on the right which was headed home by Johnson at the back post.
Within minutes, Powell crossed from the left for Dean Tilley to give Garringtons their two-goal lead again.
They went 4-1 up in the 65th minute when Summers threw the ball out to Powell. He ran 50 yards and crossed for Craig Riley to run on and score from ten yards.
Three minutes later, a cross from the left by Tilley saw Riley score again from ten yards.
Steve Evans then won the ball and played Tilley into space. He put Powell through to score a great goal. Riley wrapped up the scoring with 15 minutes left.
