DROITWICH CC's First XI travelled to bottom of the table Evesham on Saturday looking to extend their recent improvement in form.
Thanks to an excellent all-round performance, they demolished the hosts by 138 runs to guarantee their survival in the Worcestershire County League Division One.
Droitwich were put into bat and got off to a steady start thanks to Roger Barker (15) and Richard Holgate.
South African star Wesley Euley (64) then took control. He looked sheer class as he blasted the bowling all over the ground.
Stuart Bryan chipped in with 24 before skipper Ian Duggan played a glorious innings of 80.
He was well supported by Mike Gunston (23 not out) who played the shot of the day towards the end of the innings through mid-wicket. Spa declared on 250-5.
Evesham got off to a flying start through Clements (36) until destroyers in chief Paul Bryan (6-39) and Mike Wallis (4-47) ripped through the home side's batting order.
Bryan upped his pace and aggression as the hosts crumbled.
They were eventually all out for 112 leaving Spa in the safety of mid-table with two home games left before the end of the season.
