Littleton 0, Perrywood 3
LITTLETON started off the defence of their Worcester League disappointingly when last year's runners-up posted a 3-0 victory.
Perrywood took an early lead in the seventh minute when a low free kick into the penalty area rebounded to Jon Collett who scored from close range.
Littleton struggled to find any real rhythm, and the nearest they came to scoring were two inswinging corners from Matthew Edwards which caused goalkeper Gourley some problems.
On the stroke of half time, Perrywood went two up. A long pass found Ian Townsend wide on the left and he struck a super drive across the keeper and into the net from 20 yards.
Littleton lost Danny Malins with a suspected dislocated shoulder and Perrywood again looked dangerous after the break. They effectively sealed the game, when Eddy Revell's drive deflected past a helpless Grove.
The game was sponsored by First Class Flowers.
