TWO teenagers represented the Spa in Germany when they flew out on a summer exchange.
Matthew Alsbury and Geraldine Evans, both aged 16, spent two weeks in Europe funded by a German Rotary Club.
They were chosen because their relatives are members of Droitwich Spa Rotary Club.
The Spa branch is involved in a partnership programme which pays for students from the town and Germany to spend educational holidays with a host family.
Matthew and Geraldine, who recently completed GCSEs at Worcester schools, visited some of Germany's most famous sites -- including what remains of the Berlin Wall and the Volkswagen car factory.
They stayed with separate families in the town of Emden.
Part of the exchange included an international Rotary camp with children from across the world.
Matthew, whose mum Alison Alsbury is Salter's Shopping Centre manager, said the trip was fabulous.
