A CO-OPERATIVE market held in Droitwich Spa re-opened at a new venue on Friday.
The Spa's Women's Institute now holds its weekly Friday market at the Old Library Centre, in Ombersley Street East.
The event, which promises the best home-baked goods, free range eggs, vegetables and plants was held in the neighbouring Baptist Church during an eight-month refurbishment.
WI member Dianne Deacon, said: "Co-operative markets were set up in 1919 to help ordinary people -- housewives, the unemployed, pensioners and others -- earn extra money.
"Our market did not open until 1957 and offers a unique service compared to other retail outlets.
"Produce is baked freshly each week -- just like mother's cooking -- and is suitable for freezing.
"Come along and see what we have to offer."
Shoppers are welcome between 11am and 1.30pm.
