A CONTROVERSIAL long-running Hanbury planning application looks set to drag on.
Planning officers at Wychavon District Council are set to recommend another deferral for plans for 65 houses at Impney Farm, near Droitwich.
The plans, which have been opposed by neighbours and members of Droitwich Spa Town Council, have twice been delayed.
The blueprints submitted by Midland and General Developments were deferred for a site visit in March.
The matter was again deferred in April because of concerns over access to Hanbury Road and pollution fears from standing traffic on the nearby M5.
The Highways Department has confirmed its approval for the access road and the Environmental Health Office said any motorway pollution would be acceptable.
Officers are set to recommend a further delay to allow more consultation.
