SPA police joined forces with a town shop to help residents protect their property from thieves targeting sheds and garages.
Officers were stationed at Machins, in Droitwich High Street, promoting property marking for tools and equipment.
People could obtain information and advice and tamper-proof labels, in a bid to crack down on thieves raiding outdoor buildings.
Spa beat manager PC Alun Jones said: "It was very successful, with both property marking and shed alarms being sold steadily throughout the day.
"Anything which helps us deter thieves must be good."
