EVESHAM and Pershore Housing Association is being given three months to demolish a block of flats or face prosecution.
The low-rent accommodation scheme off Marymans Road in Hampton, caused controversy in July when councillors on a site visit discovered that a block of four flats had been built three metres closer to houses in Peewit Road than agreed in the planning permission.
Last Thursday Wychavon councillors held a private meeting and decided an enforcement notice should be served to EPHA within the next few weeks.
