BADSEY ended the season on a sour note as Stratford's James proved almost unpl-ayable at Ballards Park last Saturday.
Overcast conditions helped the bowlers all afternoon and Jim Goldstraw (4-18) and Andy Mabbett (3-17) ensured the home side wasn't faced with too stiff a task after tea.
A total of 110, though, proved more than enough for the visitors to boost their hopes of Division One cricket next summer as Badsey slumped to 28-5 in reply.
Jolly chipped in with two cheap victims and only a token stand of 25 between Dave Pow-ell and Ian Hardwick threatened the visiting side's supremacy.
The return of James to complete superb figures of 6-18 from ten overs saw the demise of Powell for 26 - the only home player in double figures - and subsequent defeat by 48 runs.
