CLIVE Leeming won the Tom Pitcher Memorial Trophy at Town and Common Road.
Using pole and feeder tactics, he netted perch to a weight of 7.11.0 from peg 16 on a river that fished hard.
The top trio all fished Common Road in an encouraging turnout of more than 30 members. The winner earned a place in next year's Wychavon Champion-ships.

Evesham Jubilee AS
A COACH will leave Merstow Green at 6.30am for Sunday's annual trip to Burton-on-Trent for fishing on the Broadholme stretch.
Members not already booked in are asked to contact society officers asap.
Wellingtons and waders may be required on a day when the senior, junior and Kimberley Cups will be up for grabs on water reporting excellent catches.
The first leg of the Wye Cups (junior and senior) will take place on Sunday, September 16 at Bridstow, Ross-on-Wye.
Members uncertain of directions are advised to meet at Merstow Green at 7am for arrival at the venue at 8am.
Evesham and District AC and Partnership's
TWELVE members turned out for Sunday's weekly match at Lemington Lakes, where fishing was steady throughout in the sunshine.
Youngster Elliott Canning was the winner with 29.2.0, ahead of club secretary Nigel Howe (16.2.8) and Wayne Panting (9.3.0).
The next match is as per fixture sheet with the draw at the later time of 9am.
Anne and Bill are once more thanked for their hospitality.
Tunnel Barn Farm
COLD rain water and cooler nights slowed sport a little over the weekend but, with better weather expected, next weekend should see weights rise again.
Twenty to 30 lb can be expected over the whole Top Pool with carp and bream making up the best bags.
Tench should show later on in the day after the morning sun warms the water.
Bigger carp are putting in an appearance from all areas of House One and Two. Barbel are plentiful with silver fish getting a look in.
Big carp are still being hooked and lost on the Bottom Pool.
The best reported fish is 23lb common from top end of the pool.
The best baits all round are meat and corn with maggot and worm coming a close second. Caster is working well on House One and Two.

Evesham WMC
FISHING at Rissington Road Lake, Martin Woods showed the rest of the Workies the way with a winning weight of 68lbs 8ozs of carp on the pole using meat and hemp.
Second was Rick Huxley with 55lbs 8ozs of carp on the pole, ahead of Andy Hammerton (38.15).
The annual was held on the Bristol Avon at Melksham and Stuart Robinson was the winner weighing in 5.14.8 of roach caught on the pole.
Second placed Vic Woods caught 4.2.0 of roach and small skimmers on the waggler and groundbait feeder. Third was Martin Woods with 3.15.0 of roach and a tench caught on the pole.
The next match is at Cropthorne, draw 7am.
Lenches Lakes
THE recent junior courses were well subscribed and most participants caught fish.
The cooler weather has brought more fish on to the feed and catches have risen with many anglers taking limit bags with fish averaging 2lbs.
An exception was Mr Finbones, who netted five rainbow of 6 lbs on dry fly.
Prospects remain good, particularly to the dry fly.
