A BROMSGROVE school has clinched a spot in the final of the Kielder Challenge, a unique national outdoor adventure competition for children from across Britain.
A team from Chadsgrove School, in Catshill, will now face challenges from schools across Britain.
Nearly 500 youngsters took part in the qualifying rounds of this year's challenge, organised by the Fieldfare Trust and Westfield Health Scheme.
The final will be held over the weekend of September 16-17 in Kielder Water, Northumberland.
The teams are made up of eight children, four of whom are disabled.
They will be set a number of tasks and will be judged primarily on their ability to work as a team.
Chadsgrove's victorious team was Cathy Webster, Robert Haw, Jamie Edwards, Gemma Tombs, Chris Freer, Kathryn Harris, Lisa Buckley and Sarah Carter.
