RUBERY'S official village website is undergoing a revamp to make it bigger and better.
Rubery.com was launched last year and features a whole array of details on the village for residents and tourists visiting the area.
But John Horwood, of Kennedy's Mica Hardware, in New Road, who helped design the site, said it needed to be updated and revalued.
He said: "We are in the process of deciding what else needs to be included on the site and new sections.
"We want everyone, no matter what their hobbies or age, to be able to look at the site and find something of interest.
"We have been looking at other sites and realise that ours could be better so we intend to take a closer look at what can be done."
The facility features a whole range of different listings.
These include cards and gifts, fast food, homes, gardens, leisure and hobbies.
There are also direct links to websites so residents can take a closer look at something they are interested in.
This includes the cinema, in nearby Great Park, where movie buffs can see what is on and the latest film news.
Scenes of Rubery are also displayed in a picture gallery and there is a page of local services such as schools, churches and village clubs.
To see the site go to www.rubery.com or write to rubery.com, PO Box 8336, Birmingham B45 9BT.
