STEVE Gould, of Kidderminster Running Club, marked his first half-marathon for 11 years by clocking one hour 13 minutes 38 seconds to take seventh place at Wolverhampton on Sunday.
Personal bests were recorded by Tom Kenderdine in 16th place in 1-16-48, and Dave Rollins 74th in 1-28-52.
Also completing the course were Dean Brown 1-40-02, John Ash 1-56-50 and Charlie Waldock 1-59-32.
After his recent Iron Man Triathlon success, Paul Thornton had no problem in running the Bromyard National Trust 6.7-mile cross country event on Sunday when he finished second veteran and ninth overall.
He was followed by Pete Swift in 21st place.
Terry Minahan finished 44th in the Beacon 10k Beer Race, at Haresfield, near Gloucester, in 44 minutes on Sunday.
