HEALTH watchdogs from Wyre Forest visited Worcester's new £91 million PFI hospital.
Members of Kidderminster and District Community Health Council went on a site visit and saw a mock-up of a four-bedded ward with en-suite facilities.
They were then taken on an extensive tour both inside the hospital and around the perimeter.
Chairman Flora Wright said she was pleased the plans and design of the hospital had taken into consideration the needs of both patients and the medical and nursing staff using state-of-the-art technology.
She said: "Members of the CHC were very impressed with the advanced progress of the building and from what they observed all agreed the new hospital, when up-and-running, will be of immense benefit to the people of the county."
