VILLAGE PUMP RESTORED: The village pump has been restored and now has a new handle and - it works !

The work has been carried out by blacksmith Tim King, from Bourton, and was organised by Joy and Stephen Moss.

FETE: On Saturday, Westcote Fete takes place in and around the village hall and The Tattle. Starting at 2pm, the fete will include lots of attractions including jousting, stalls and teas.

AUTUMN SHOW: Westcote's neighbouring village, Icomb, has its autumn show in the village hall, between 3.30pm and 5pm, on Saturday. Bring and buy and raffle. Admission 20p.

CHURCH FUNDS: Westcote church funds have benefited from two recent fund-raising events.

The barn dance raised £373 and the barbecue raised £488.
