TABLES buckled under the weight of lip-smacking treats like apple pie, home-made jams and cherry cakes for a millennium show in Middle Littleton last Saturday.

Residents had been busy pruning, baking and pickling to enter the 35 classes on offer at the garden and craft show organised by the Littletons Women's Institute.
The craft section ranged from cross-stitch items to a cushion, hand-made greetings card and a scarecrow.
There were also classes for fruit, vegetables, pot plants and cookery as well as for creative youngsters who could make gingerbread people, vegetable animals or a painting of the seaside.
