Southam United 3, Feckenham 1
THE Millers shot themselves in the foot once again on Saturday.
Despite creating the better chances they still went down.
Southam opened the scoring when Gary Shaw's cross hit the far post and went in after only two minutes.
Wright in the Southam goal denied Andy Underwood and Darren Tarver with good saves.
Richard Hadley had a shot blocked in the six yard box and just before the interval, Richard Jones created a good chance for Underwood who scooped over from six yards out.
Mark Sheils in the Feckenham goal handled confidently when needed.
Southam opened the attacking in the second half and scored when Webb took his chance well from 15 yards out.
Minutes afterwards, Webb shot tamely wide when well placed.
The Millers pulled a goal back when Hadley converted from six yards out.
Immediately afterwards, Jones forced a fine save from Wright which ended in a Millers' corner from which Steve Taylor headed over when unmarked.
Southam looked dangerous on the break with the Millers pushing for an equaliser, from which one attack Simmons fired home after keeper Sheils parried Webb's shot.
