A REMINDER that the next Longdon Churchwomen's Fellowship meeting takes place on Wednesday, September 13.

Members should meet outside Longdon Village Hall at 7pm so transport to Tewkes-bury can be arranged.

Bridge Builders begins again on Sunday, September 17 at the Vicarage at 11.15am. This term we will begin by learning about Paul and the exciting things he did for God. If you are aged between 5 and 12, why don't you come and join us? Our lively sessions include singing, stories, craft activities and delicious refreshments!

The service at St Mary's Church this Sunday (September 10) will be Holy Communion at 8am.

Also on Sunday, Joanne Inchbald from Queenhill, part of the Longdon Benefice, will be confirmed at Worcester Cathedral at 4pm. We send our best wishes and prayers to her on this special day.

The next meeting of the Longdon PCC takes place at the Vicarage on Tuesday, September 12 at 7.30pm.

There will be a choir practice at St Mary's Church on Thursday, September 14 at 6.45pm to prepare for the Harvest Festival Evensong on Sunday, September 17 at 6.30pm.

Make a note in your diary for the Longdon Harvest Supper on Saturday, September 23 at 7.30pm at Longdon Village Hall, which is always a very happy occasion.
