I WOULD like to take this opportunity to thank the committee for another tremendous effort in organising this year's Ledbury Carnival. All the comments I have received have been very positive and supportive of this year's event.

I am only involved in a minor way with the organisation of the day, but I am well aware of the enormous commitment and effort made by the other members of the committee.

It is not possible to name all those involved, individually, but it is right to recognise how this small group stages an annual event for the enjoyment of the entire town.

I will join many others in looking forward with anticipation to next year's carnival.
