WORCESTER Rugby Club will have the largest number of players on show at the inaugural Women's Super Fours Championship this weekend.
Fifteen members of the Sixways first team squad have been selected for competition which features the top 100 rugby players in the country.
The 15 are: Alex Pilkington, Joanne Yapp, Katie Mullen, Karen Andrew, Elizabeth Brown, Tessa Meek, Nicola Goodwin, Jane Lock, Heid Kostyrka, Julie Stodart-Cook, Amanda Palmer-Norrie, Charlotte Keys, Sarah Denham, Nicola Crawford and Sarah Grigg.
The Super Fours, at Imber Court, Surrey, tomorrow and Sunday, is the culmination of the Rugby Football Union for Women new player development initiative.
Five High Performance Academies involving 212 players have been running across the country, building on players' fitness, skills and game awareness.
Super Fours trials were held last weekend from which 100 players have been placed in four evenly matched teams.
