EASTNOR potter Jon Williams is awaiting the opening of a major solo show at the Oxford Gallery.
He has been preparing for the Oxford show for two years, putting aside the best of his pieces as they emerge from the kiln.
Mr Williams described the Oxford Gallery as one of the top five leading contemporary applied arts galleries in the country.
It will host around 60 of his best pots, including the award winning 'Dotty Drum' and the 'Doughnut Bottle'.
The exhibition opens on Monday (September 11) and runs until October 11.
Mr Williams has developed a very distinctive style and has exhibited extensively in this country and abroad.
"I was originally inspired by the visual qualities of icing and observed parallels between cake making and ceramics," he said.
