HORSES galore were on show at this year's event from tiny Shetlands to huge shire horses and everything in between.

Classes included qualifiers for the Horse of the Year Show in the mountain and moorland classes which attracted a massive entry.

Local riders and breeders were well represented with others from as far away as the Isle of Wight who came to show their horses in a wide range of ridden and in hand classes.

Chipping Campden Welsh Pony breeder Julia Hoskins had a selection of ponies entered and had a notable success with her black 12-year-old section D mare Pantileinau Anwen who won the in hand Welsh section C and D class.

Anne-Marie Evans of Moreton, better known for her eventing prowess than her showing skills, won her section of the Young Sport Horse competition with Trefeinon Treat and was second with Two Thyme. Trefeinon Treat was also named reserve sport horse champion.

Dorsington-based carriage driver John Redfern and his bay veteran campaigner Brockett were second in the private driving against a strong field. Entries for this class were much improved on last year's two contestants.
