BROWNIES and Rainbows in Malvern are appealing for supporters to help keep their packs going.
Three packs had to close in May and now the 6th Malvern Brownies are also threatened with closure.
A year ago they had 16 members, but they are now down to five and need at least six more.
Two of the remaining Brownies, Sylvia Moeskops, aged eight, and Danielle Stocker, aged nine, have written to the Malvern Gazette appealing for more girls, aged from seven to 10.
Sylvia says she likes Brownies because they do something different every week, while Danielle says she likes cooking, making things, going on trips and getting badges. Their pack meets in the Lyttelton Rooms, Church Street, on Monday from 4.30pm to 6pm.
Brown Owl Lorraine Barson said: "We're not short of helpers, but four Brownies moved up to Guides last term and we're not getting new children in to replace them."

Malvern Link Rainbow unit, for girls aged five to seven, has warned it will have to close this month unless another adult helper is found. The unit meets on Wednesdays, from 4.45pm to 5.45pm in Trinity Church Hall.
Call Delysia Barker on 01684 569527, if you can help.
