An evening of art, food and entertainment is being laid on by the Malvern Youth Theatre on Sunday (September 10).
Called Plate Modern, the event will be an upmarket affair with an art show, music and three-course meal at Malvern Youth Centre.
Local councillors and members of Malvern Theatres have been invited to attend the entertainment, which will culminate in a cabaret presented by the youth theatre.
Founder member Matthew Hill said they usually lay on these events for friends and family.
"But we feel we're not attracting the attention we deserve so we're trying to find ways getting support," he said.
Malvern Youth Theatre began in 1995 and has staged eight productions so far. Mr Hill said: "We're different to other youth groups in that we prefer to put on plays members have written themselves."
