THE new pool season kicks off this Sunday (Sept 10) with again three leagues and 26 pool teams in the Malvern & District BAPTO run League and over 250 local players competing for honours once again.

Threre are three new competitions, the Singles Showdown, the Mike Leach Eliminator and Killer 7's which is seven straight singles.

Week one sees reformed side Supergrass travel to take on the Lost Boys while the newly shaped Outcasts play hosts to the Freddy Kruegers. Oliver's Army go to Colwall to play the Dogs Bollox and the Undertakers entertain Robopot OCP. Finally in the Super League the Baliff's will try and evict Steve Carter's the Untouchables.

Division One sees the Chancers go to the Biff Lickyours, the Newports play hosts to the Bellenders, the Up & comers play table mates the Beauch Boyz and the Star Players play Pubba Tubbies.

Division Two has seven sides with the superbly named Apocalypse taking on the Muckerites, Clueless line up against the all girl side Qued-Up and the Legionnaires host the Mad House, while the Morgan take the bye.
