OLYMPIC medal hope Andy Beadsworth looks set to qualify for the match-racing eliminator in the soling event in Sydney.
The Clows Top sailing ace started badly but recovered to seventh place with two of the six qualifying races remaining.
The 33-year-old, crewed by Barry Parkin and Richard Sydenham, only needs to finish in the top 12 to make the final.
