BROMSGROVE continued their successful season with a comprehensive victory over a side that had drawn with them earlier in the season in the Old Silhillians tournament.
The first half was 22-0 with tries from James Hinks, Andrew Stokes, Kyle Everton, Thomas Solomon and a conversion from David Hughes.
In the second half changes were made to accommodate the large squad and this did change the pattern of the game. Bromsgrove adjusted to the changes and continued to dominate the game. Russell Ingram opened the scoring followed by a well-taken try from Stokes.
The third try came after a break down the right wing by second row Hughes who, when he realised he was being caught, kicked ahead for speed merchant Thomas Solomon to chase and claim his second try. Two tries were converted this half, one by Hughes with Stuart Young converting the second. These players shared the champagne moment of the game with Andrew Strong whose positional play was duly rewarded with more than one memorable winner.
Congratulations must go at this stage of the season to coaches Geoff Strong and Phil Ingram, who have taken over a good squad of players and developed them into an improving group of youngsters.
