KEEN musicians at Church Hill Middle School will be taking part in a Christmas concert on Tuesday after being inspired to take up brass playing by a scheme called Music For You.
They will be joined by pupils from Ravensbank and Moons Moat First Schools at the concert, which takes place at St Leonard's Church, Beoley, at 7.30pm.
Brass tutor Warren Belshaw has been teaching the pupils and has been encouraged by the response to the scheme, which will result in 17 young musicians taking part in the concert.
Music For You will also be launching a music collection service, which will run until February.
The idea is to collect and redistribute sheet music.
It can either be taken to Redditch or Bromsgrove libraries or posted to 141-143 Worcester Road, Bromsgrove B61 7HN.
