TWO policewomen were stranded in a flood when torrential rain submerged parts of Droitwich Spa.
The officers had to be rescued from Ford Lane on Friday morning by firefighters after they attempted to drive through the water in a police van.
A force spokesman said: "This goes to show how easily floodwater can be misjudged and we strongly urge people not to drive through."
During the floods in November, firefighters said Ford Lane was one of the worst hit roads and they had rescued 'irresponsible' drivers who had tried to drive through deep water.
On Friday and Saturday, a number of roads were closed including Westlands Way, Ford Lane, Kidderminster Road and Crown Lane, in Wychbold.
They have all since reopened.
